Huck Finn Response

One day Huck finds his dad's footprint in the dirt around the house and realizes that his dad has returned. His dad has a history of being drunk and abusive which makes him worried about his dads intentions. When he confronts Huck and tries to get him quit school and stop improving him self, but Huck continues to go to school just to show his dad up. Huck soon realizes when his dad takes him back to his house across the Mississippi River. Huck begins to felt more comfortable with his life not having to go to school or church. though his dad beatings became more and more saver. Which coned him into fakeing his own death. Huck escapes down to Jackson’s Island and this is where he finds Miss Watson’s slave, Jim, who has run away because he thinks he might be sold to another.
